How to get to Galiano Island
The Tsawwassen Ferry Terminal is a 40 minute drive from downtown Vancouver. The ride on the “Gulf Island Ferry” to Galiano Island is about 50 minutes. Call 1-888-223-3779 for southern Gulf Island vehicle reservations or visit the website: http://www.bcferries.com/. Foot passengers do not require reservations.
Getting to the Retreat Center
From the ferry terminal at Sturdies Bay, take Sturdies Bay Road to the junction of Portlier Pass Rd (just before the General Store & the Daystar market & café), follow Portlier Pass Rd to the North End of the island (approx. 25 minutes from the ferry). Madrona Lodge is on the same road (approx. 15 minutes from the ferry ) and Bodega Resort is about 3 minutes from Madrona, at Cook Rd. Once you’ve passed Cook Rd., keep an eye out for Spotlight Studio sign on your left. The small white “Crystal Mountain” sign is just past here on the right.
